Visionary and Outsider Art

I began drawing and painting as a child. I attended the HS of Music and Art
in NYC. Since then, my love of art led me to continue creating, although I had no formal training.
While working in other fields, I continued with my art. I became interested in graphic design and screen-printing, which led to our family business, Screen-Tech, in West Hurley, NY.
I have shown my work at KJ’s Gallery in Amenia, NY, The Cornell St. Studios, in Kingston and The Arrowsmith Showroom in Millbrook, NY.
My intention is to create motion with color and shape. Some of my subjects are: portraits of musicians, group portraits of fish and corn, landscapes and ancient life as I imagine it might have been. I work on canvas, fabric, paper, glass, plexiglass, rock and masonite, using acrylics, goache, tempera, watercolor and pastels.
