Self-taught Visionary Artist

| Artist statement: I explore life from the ground up, from the painful to the playful. On the street is where I get inspiration and materials for many of my projects. I work mostly with mixed media and mixed surfaces. Music has a very strong influence on my emotional state that effects my art profoundly. As an artist, I believe the process of creating is an endless journey. So once I’ve allowed the music into my soul, I can journey far and discover many things. Most of my art contains a deep emotional meaning brought on by these inner journeys which are not always obvious to the viewer. The project is never finished until I reach peace and harmony within myself. Eric Ernst says; " The most melodic use of recycled materials, the hands down winner is Joseph Eschenberg's "Me and Frida" which rhythmically uses both painterly and sculptural elements to conjure a dramatic contrast in both depth and materials." "Other works of interest include Joseph Eschenbergs "Blue Moon" a mixed media sculpture. |
